once in a while 

'Once in a while' is an adverb of frequency, meaning ' occasionally ', which can be used at the beginning or end of a sentence, and has the same meaning as ' every now and then '.

'Once in a while' 是個頻率副詞，表 "偶爾" ，可以放在句首或句尾使用，其意思與 'every now and then' 相同。

Every now and then we're allowed to have a school dancing party.

Once in a while we're allowed to have a school dancing party.

' Quite a few ' is formed by adding ' quite ' before ' a few '.

' Quite a few ' 是 ' a few ' 之前加上 ' quite ' 變化而成的。

' a few ' meaning ' some ', ' quite a few ' meaning ' many '.

'a few' 的意思是 "一些"，'quite a few' 的意思是 "不少"。

'a few' and ' quite a few ' are followed by "plural countable nouns".

'a few' 和 ' quite a few '，後面都要加 "複數可數名詞"。
