(閉嘴；別再說了！)
The slang(俚語) 'zip it' is a rude way to tell someone to shut up, be quiet, and not say anything else.
叫別人'zip it' ，是不太禮貌的要他人「閉嘴、別說了、惦惦就好」。
換句話說：
Zip your lips. (閉上你的嘴)
Stop talking. (別再說了)
Drop it. = Drop the subject. (別再談論這件事了)
"Zip it, you two."
"Zip it, Carl."
"Okay."
"We made a deal! Zip it!"
「我們約定過了！別再說了！」
"Zip it or lose it."
「閉嘴，不然就讓你再也開不了口。」
"Congratulations, bookworm. You're officially on probation."
「恭喜啊，書呆子。你正式進入試用期了。」

【Have we met before?】
(我們見過面嗎？)
這裡的 met 是動詞 meet 的過去分詞，表示「見面、認識」。
使用情境一：當你看到一個人很眼熟，
但不確定自己認不認識對方，可以問 "Have we met before?"
或是省略 before (以前)，直接問 "Have we met?" 表示「我們見過面嗎？」
使用情境二：有人叫你的名字，當你不覺得自己認識對方，可以說 "I'm sorry. Have we met (before)" 表示「抱歉，我們認識嗎？」
