【flash & flush】
flash [flæʃ] v. (使) 閃耀；(使)閃光
'Flash' means 「to shine brightly and suddenly」.
"閃光" 的意思是突然明亮地照耀。
Stop flashing that light in my eyes!別拿那個手電筒晃我的眼睛了！

As nouns the difference between flux and flax is that flux is the act of flowing; a continuous moving on or passing by, as of a flowing stream while flax is a plant of the genus linum.
