片語動詞由一個基本動詞(例如get)和一個副詞(例如along)或/和一個介系詞(例如with)組成，作為一個獨立完整的整套用法來描述特定動作所指的含義。 片語動詞有以下三種形式：動詞+介系詞，動詞+副詞，動詞+副詞+介系詞。
片語動詞 (001) - 【ask 用法】
ask的中文意思是指「詢問、要求」的意思，但它的意思遠不止這樣，而且ask還有很多相關的英文片語，例如ask for、ask about、ask over…等等，這些跟ask有關的英文片語很常見。
片語動詞 (001-1) - 【asked sb out】
〈asked sb out - 請…外出（或吃飯、看電影等）〉
John asked Mary out to dinner.
約翰邀請瑪麗出去吃飯。
You should ask her out sometime.
你應該找機會約她出來。
片語動詞 (001-2) - 〈asked around〉
asked around - 四處打聽；多方詢問
All right, let's look at number one

I haven't seen your dog. I'm sorry,

What do you think to ask around means?
It means to ask multiple people(多方人士).
You can also use this in the workplace.
