damp [dæmp] adj. 潮濕的
'Damp' means slightly wet, especially in a way that is not pleasant or comfortable.
"Damp" 的意思是有點濕，特別是以一種不愉快或不舒服的方式。
The lawn was still damp so we decided not to sit down.
草坪還是濕漉漉的，所以我們決定不坐下來。

'Dump' means a place where waste or garbage is left; a ground or place for dumping ashes, refuse, etc.; a disposal site.
