分詞形容詞

分詞是一種動狀詞，它是由動詞演變而來。分詞有現在分詞與過去分詞兩種，兩者都扮演著形容詞的角色，用來修飾「名詞」或「代名詞」，或是當補語使用。

【interest】[ˈɪntrəst] [v.] 使感興趣

for example

Politics doesn't interest me.
我對政治不感興趣。

【interesting】[ˈɪntrəstɪŋ] [adj.] 有趣的；令人感興趣的；

She's quite an interesting woman.

She's quite an ________ woman.

她是一個很有趣的女人。

【interesting】[ˈɪntrəstɪŋ] [adj.]  令人感興趣的 (引起人興趣的事)

Someone or something that is interesting keeps your attention because he,she, or it is unusual, exciting,or has a lot of ideas.

{有趣的人或東西}能吸引你的注意力，因為{他，她，或者它}是不尋常的、令人興奮的，或者有很多想法。

It is always interesting to hear other people's point of view.

得知別人的觀點總是令人感興趣的。

She has a lot of interesting ideas,but they're not very practical.

她有很多有趣的想法，但都不是很實用。

她有很多令人感興趣的想法，但都不是很實用。

她有很多稀奇古怪的點子，但都不是很實用。

【請注意】

很多老外，特別是紳士派的英國人，當他要拒絕你的時候，用 'That's interesting' 經常是幽默地表達「這行不通」的意思，保持職場的優雅，不那麼直白，這時一定要聽得懂。

Allen is not interested in Jenny at all. He doesn’t even like girls.

艾倫對珍妮根本不感興趣。 他甚至不喜歡女孩。

She's not especially interested in sport.

I had always been interested in history.

我一直對歷史很感興趣。

【結論】

interesting→很有趣
interested→對...很有興趣
